The main features that are currently implemented are:

  • Connection and initialization of the PDP: SysPab connects the telnet ports, start booting, insert the date, enter the editing features of the programs and logs the telnet ports for reading the signals and axes and for reading the signals relating to production lists.
  • Downloading files of PDP on PC: it is possible, during the installation, to copy all at once all Salvagnini PDP programs in your PC. Than you can organize your programs as you want in local or remote folders.
  • Editing with external text editor: at this time, programs' creation and changes can be done by an external text editor on choice.
  • Compilation: SysPab sends the program to PDP for compilation (SDE command), if the compilation is successful, for punching machine, in the special information card, you can notice the punching numbers and the approximate time of execution; if not, you can see the error of compilation issued by PDP.
  • Production: the program starts the production (SDL Command) with the quantity indicated in the special box. If the program has not been compiled yet, or if it has been modified after the last compilation, it will start previously the compilation sequence.
  • Collecting information: only for punching machine, it is possible to collect information about the program: number of punching, approximate time of execution, length, width, thickness, specific gravity and total weight of sheet.
  • Stacking: the positions of the stacking of the pieces produced by the program are detected and graphically shown; they can be also changed by dragging them with your mouse.
  • Production Stopping: by clicking the special button the production will stop (command KIL)
  • Draw for panel bender: at the selection of a program for the panel bender is shown the design of the piece folded, fold the edges of the flaps marked with positive and negative bends, the references, and the profile of the folds on each side.
  • Reading and setting of the machine signals: Through a provided window you can read and set the status of the machine's sensors. For the purposes of the research, it results to be useful the function that shows the drawing of the position and the photograph of the selected signal.
  • Reading of the machine axes: similarly you can read the expected and actual decimal value of the machine axes. Even for the axes, it is possible to view both the drawing and the photograph of the selected axis.
  • Detection of errors and warnings of the machine: when the machine detects an and requires to restart the software, an alert box will open to view the sensor or axis that caused the stall, again with the outputting of images.
